This Korean Braised Tofu (or Dubu Jorim) is a flavorful side featuring pan-fried, crispy tofu braised in a moderately spicy soy-based sauce that adds a sweet, spicy, and savory flavor.

KEY INGREDIENTS

• Firm Tofu • Avocado Oil Braising Sauce • Soy Sauce • Garlic • Sugar • Toasted Sesame Oil • Gochugaru • Sesame Seeds • Green Onion

INSTRUCTIONS

Drain the tofu and cut into 1/4 inch thick slices, then remove the excess moisture with a paper towel.

Next, add all the sauce ingredients together and stir to combine.

Pan fry the tofu until golden and browned. Then spoon the sauce over each tofu piece and braise for 3-4 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve with warm rice, sprinkled with sesame seeds and green onion.
