Homemade Sausage Rolls


Delicious homemade gluten-free sausage rolls recipe that also happens to be paleo and grain free! The sausage filling is wonderful wrapped in a flaky pastry dough.


• Almond Flour • Arrowroot Starch • Cold Butter • Salt • Eggs • Apple Cider Vinegar Sausage Filling: • Pork Sausage • Dijon Mustard • Fresh Thyme


Combine flour, starch, and salt. Add butter, egg, and apple cider vinegar, pulse until a dough forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes – 1 hr.

Break up the sausage meat and mix together  with the Dijon mustard and thyme.

Roll dough into a long rectangle, then place sausage filling in the center. Fold over one side of the pastry, pinch down at the seam to seal. Cut into 1½ inch pieces.

Brush the tops of the sausage rolls with egg wash. Bake at 375F for 25-35 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
