Salted Caramel Thumbprint Cookies

A fun take on a traditional dessert, these paleo and vegan salted caramel thumbprint cookies are a delicious holiday treat made with clean ingredients!

KEY INGREDIENTS

• Almond Flour • Sea Salt • Ghee • Maple Syrup • Vanilla • Sea Salt Flakes • Salted Caramel Sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix almond flour and sea salt. Mix in ghee, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, until a wet dough forms. Cover with a plastic wrap, and chill for 15 minutes.

Form dough into balls and place on a prepared baking sheet. Make an  indentation in the center with your thumb and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

Allow cookies to cool, then spoon the salted caramel sauce into each cookie. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and cool completely until the caramel filling solidifies.
