Stir yeast, sugar, and warm water together and let sit until foamy. Then mix in flour, baking soda, and salt and let sit until it doubles in size.
Combine all the pork filling ingredients together and place in the fridge until ready to use.
Knead the dough, cut into 12 equal pieces, and shape into balls. Flatten it out, add the filling, and close the edges. Then roll into a smooth ball.
Place in a steamer basket and steam on full boil for 15 minutes. Then turn off heat, and let the buns sit for a few minutes.
