The Best Homemade Guacamole (Paleo, Whole30, Keto, Vegan, AIP Option)
This is truly the best homemade guacamole recipe that's simple and easy. It's so addicting and full of flavor, and it's the only classic guacamole recipe you need!
Servings: 4 servings
- 3 medium avocados
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp cumin Omit for AIP
- Optional: 1/4 tsp cayenne Omit for AIP
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 clove garlic minced
- Optional: 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
- Optional: 1 jalapeño pepper seeds removed and chopped
Peel and seed the avocados, and scoop out the pulp into a large bowl.
Pour lime juice over the avocados.
Add salt, cumin, and cayenne (if using), and mash together with a fork or a potato masher.
Add onion, garlic, and cilantro (if using), and stir together.
Let sit in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before serving, so the flavors can meld together.
