Cinnamon Apple Granola

gluten free

This paleo, gluten-free cinnamon apple granola is easy to make at home, with subtly sweet clusters of real, whole ingredients. It’s flavored with warm, seasonal spices, and it’s much tastier than store-bought granola!

INGREDIENTS

• Raw Pecan Halves or Walnuts • Raw Almonds • Cashews • Apple • Coconut Flakes • Coconut Oil • Maple Syrup • Vanilla • Nutmeg • Cinnamon • Sea Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Peel and chop apples. Add pecans, almonds, and cashews in a food processor, and pulse until roughly chopped. Pour into a large mixing bowl, add coconut flakes and the apple.

Mix together the coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt. Pour over the nut mixture, stir to coat evenly.

Spread granola on a parchment lined baking sheet, pressing down with a spatula to get crunchy clusters. Bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring and flipping half way through.

Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes. Break into clusters, and enjoy!
