Bring water to a boil, add eggs and bring to a boil again, then reduce heat and simmer for 11 minutes. Place in an ice bath, then peel and chop up.
Fry bacon slices over medium heat until browned and crisp. Drain and roughly crumble.
Place romaine lettuce on the bottom of a large salad bowl. Top with chicken, eggs, bacon, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and green onions.
In a separate bowl, whisk together all dressing ingredients. Drizzle over the salad and toss together gently before serving.
