Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, and line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper. Whisk almond butter, sweet potato, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract in a large bowl.
1 cup creamy almond butter, 3/4 cup sweet potato puree, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract
Add cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and stir until just combined.

Fold in 1/4 cup chocolate chips until just combined.
Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan. Top evenly with the remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs.
Cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
