Tuna Onigiri

Tuna onigiri are Japanese rice balls stuffed with tuna, mayo, and sriracha, wrapped in nori, and sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds. A delicious, popular snack!

KEY INGREDIENTS

• Sushi Rice • Tuna in Oil • Mayonnaise • Sriracha Sauce • Toasted Nori • Salt Optional • Toasted Sesame Seeds

INSTRUCTIONS

Rinse rice well under cold running water. Then add water and rice to the Instant Pot and cook on high pressure for 6 minutes.

Fluff the rice, then cover with a kitchen towel to keep it from drying out. Mash drained tuna, mayo, and sriracha together.

Cut nori sheets into 3 equal strips. Wet your hands, rub with salt and grab some rice, flatten into a circle and add tuna filling. Shape into a triangle and roll in sesame seeds.

Take a nori sheet to wrap the onigiri on the side without sesame seeds.
