Why You’ll Love These Asian Baked Dumplings
If you’ve ever wondered whether dumplings can be baked in the oven, this recipe proves just how delicious they can be. Frozen dumplings and ramen cakes soak up layers of flavor while staying tender in a savory broth. It’s the ultimate Asian-inspired comfort food.
This one-pan baked dumplings recipe is a viral trend (just like my viral smash dumpling tacos) that’s easy enough for weeknights yet impressive for guests. With ramen added, it becomes a complete meal, and the gochujang broth infuses every bite with garlic, heat, and umami. Unlike fried dumplings, these bake in the oven without splattering oil, making them a lighter, healthier option.
The best part is how pantry-friendly it is. Staples like gochujang, soy sauce, garlic, and frozen dumplings pair perfectly with fresh mushrooms and spinach for a meal that tastes like it took hours. My family loves it so much they ask for it often, and it’s become one of those dependable dinners that disappear fast. Make a double batch if you want leftovers, because this recipe rarely lasts long once it hits the table!
